Cadorna è stato simulato un
attacco terroristico per
mettere alla prova il
coordinamento antiterrorismo
Come
in programma,
alle ore 12.00 una finta
esplosione avviene su un
vagone del treno "Malpensa
Express" in arrivo da
Malpensa, appena giunto nella
stazione di Cadorna. Qualche
istante dopo, un secondo
ordigno "scoppia"
nella fermata della
metropolitana Cadorna.
Repentino
l'arrivo dei mezzi di
soccorso: autopompe,
autolettighe, unità speciali
di tutti i reparti.

the center of Milan, at
Cadorna Station, and at
Linate airport, in the
south-est of the city there
were two exercises.
The
first 'bomb' exploded at
midday on a train heading from
the city centre to Malpensa,
Milan's international airport.
The explosion took place after
the train pulled into the
station at Piazza Cadorna in
the city centre .
Three minutes later, another
bomb went off in a carriage on
an underground train at the
same station . While at Linate
airport the exercise included
negotiations between the
police and the fake terrorist
for the release of the
hostages
